Office Hours: Nov 15, 2018 – Thursday Evening

Office Hours Call Notes - Thursday Nov 15, 2018

The focus for this evening's call was time prioritization.  Change is hard, but if you want something different in your life, then it is CRITICAL that you prioritize your time, write it down on a calendar for the week, and hold yourself accountable to spending your time doing what you planned... even if you don't feel like it.   Habits are hard to change, but if your WHY is strong enough you can do it and change your life for the better.

00:01: Ron: I was always volunteering my time. My coach said, “You are brilliant when you focus on one thing, you are brilliant, when you don’t you are broke.” When I focus on one thing, then stuff got done.  I needed to focus on things that generate immediate cash flow.

I went Silver to get $2,000.00 in the bank. I was determined to go Silver. I went to Utah to learn. I made the commitment to go Silver that month. Rachel told me that I did not have to do it. I worked the stuff that I am teaching you. I got people to an Aroma Touch. I had 100% sign up rate with Aroma Touches. I had $25,000.00 in my bank account at the end of the month.  When I got clear on what I needed to do, things got done. If you want change, you have to change.

12:55: Trigger: I am very busy and I work a lot. How do I find the time to do doTERRA?

13:48: Ron: Do you plan out your week, hour by hour? You need to do that in order to find the cracks of time, even five minutes, for you to work on doTERRA. In five minutes, you can text a few people, make phone call, plan your week for example. Honor the time you schedule. During the time you schedule, total honor your time to build doTERRA.

The book: The One Thing says that if you want to move forward what is the one thing to move me in the direction I need to move forward? Do something in those cracks of time. Texting, e-mailing, planning your week etc. would be good activities.

18:28: Nicole: I love the 24 hour tracker. I have to map out my day every day. My doTERRA activities are in my calendar. I have time to work my business and rejuvenation time also.

21:40: Ron: When you plan your week you see where you can where you can find the time to get things done in your business. Rocks are not really rocks. You can move them. This is not natural. You will mess up but trying and doing something is better than not trying at all. Planning and tracking your time is super important. Time goes and you can never get it out. Prioritize your time usage to get what you want in life.

29:33: Ron: If you want something different in your life, you have to allocate some time to what you want. My calendar is almost empty. I wanted my time back. That was my why. Now I have my time back and I am not broke.

36:33: Trigger: I get to start using my planning book. I usually keep things in my planner. I need to write down the things that I don’t want to do.

37:48: Ron: You have many years of habits that we have developed. Unless we are to develop a new habit then things will not change. Your “Why” will force you to get new habits.

40:18: Trigger: I get distracted easily and talk myself out of things.

40:35: Ron: Your “why” is not strong enough or too long term or things are not on your calendar.

41:38: Nicole: You have to have your calendar in front of you, in the kitchen.

42:13: Ron: When you start to honor your time and you see results, which will give you fuel for the future and it will get easier.

43:54: Nicole: Color code for each person/activity.

44:25: Ron: All my calendars are synchronized. You must synchronize your calendar with all of the other people in your life. It does get easier and easier. Block out the time slots that you can allocate. Set your alarms to go off to remind you when you are finished.

47:37: Mary Jane: Reach out to people during these little blocks of time.

49:00: Ron: If your agenda is to make friends and establish relationships your will win. If you go into warrior mode people will feel it and resent it.

51:17: Ron: I keep a timer on my desk all the time and set it for 15 minute intervals because I am ADD. I can get distracted beyond belief. Get timers on your desk or on your phone especially if you get easily distracted and go down the rabbit holes of Google or Facebook. We all have the same 24 each day, it all how we use them.
